As a foodie doing her post graduate in Digital Marketing and Web Analytics from NYU and living in the USA, Ruchika Agarwal was exposed to the largest number of cuisines in the world. Besides the fear of missing out on delicious food, she was soon prone to the common barriers to healthy eating such as - time constraints, unhealthy snacking, convenience high-calorie food, stress, high prices of healthy food, and easy access to junk food etc. Such erratic dietary habits started to affect her adversely. Hormonal changes, resultant issues of acne and weight gain influenced her to greatly lean towards seeking information, developing and practicing positive balanced eating habits. Improved food knowledge and education helped her with better meal planning and informed health interventions. Overtime, her food became her healer, but after returning to India, the number of nourishing food options to her became extremely limited. That urged her to pay attention to what she could do here, to make people more aware of and make available-simple, honest yet powerful food sources that could help them enhance and maintain healthy lifestyle choices.
